Memorandum of Association

All India Senior Citizens' Forum


1. Name of The Society:
The name of the society shall be ALL INDIA SENIOR CITIZENS' FORUM

Registered Office:
The Registered Office of the Society is at present situated at Qp - 95 Maurya Enclave, Pitampura Delhi-110034. The registered office may be changed with the approval of the Executive Committee, but shall remain in the National Capital Territory of Delhi.

The Society will operate on all India basis

Aims and Objects

The basic aims and objects for which the Society is formed and registered are:-

1. To promote the Welfame of the Aged people to lead a healthy, happy prosperous and dignified life.

2. To organize study of other countries regarding benefits given to Senior Citizens in various fields.

3. To strive for getting social security as well as medical facilities from the State and Private Entrepreneurs.

4. To organize all activities incidental to health care and recreation such as Yoga, Meditation Health Check-up Camps, Picnics, Sight Seeing, Educational and Cultural tours to places of historical, religious and educational importance in India and abroad for Senior Citizens.

5. To arrange part-time placement service's for Retired persons and to render financial help in cash or kind to needy and aged people

6. To hold meetings, debates, Lectures & seminars for exchange of views on different fields & to build up Public Opinion to eradicate social evils.

7. To engage in such allied activites as would be considered useful of necessary to make the evening of life of Senior Citizens happy and peaceful and take up the welfare schemes of the Senior Citizens with the various Govt. authorities / agencies ang persuade the govt. for assistance to subscribe to such welfare schemes.

8. To establish, manage, maninatain and contribute towards establishing and maintenance of charitable hospitals, dispensaries, medical centers schools, colleges and other educational instiutions, sports centers, community centers, libraries, reading rooms, recreation centers and old age homes / holiday homes for the general welfare of all the senior citizens and widows etc. any where in India in urban, rural and backward areas and/ or to provide financial assistance and other facilities to such instiutions.

9. To establish the branches wherever considered for achieving the objects of the society.

10. To raise funds by accepting any bequeath, gift donations, sponsorship, advertisements, endowments, scbscriptions, contributions by publication of literature and by securing grants in cash and kind from local bodies, State govt., Central govt., National & International Organizations, MNC’s, Corporate houses and may receive assistance from any person by any lawful source and employ them in such manner as may be considered desirable for the employ them in such manner as may be considered desirable for the furtherance of the objects of the Society.

11. To acquire land by purchase, lease, gift, donations, secure by exchange or license, hire or otherwise and properties moveable or immovable from Govt. or Private agencies for the society from time to time Society may take over the management of any other Charitable or public institutions on such terms as Deems fit and may manage such institutions.

12. To give or establish prizes for excellence in the field of (a) Social Services (b) Human Understanding (c) Education & honour the social workers, society members, & Eminent citizens for exceptional qualities.

13. To provide financial aid to needy / meritorious students in the field of education and grant scholarship to meritorious students in cash or kind.

14. to bring out provide & circulate to members, senior citizens & general public all such literature by way of publishing books, magazines, posters, pamphlets, reports, souvenirs and newspapers or give financial aid in the publication of any literature as would help to fufill the objects.

15. To promote harmonious understanding and equal respect for all religions, cultures, races and ideologies and for that purpose to arrange cultural exchange programs, seminars, tours etc.

16. To encourage, promote and regulate amateur games and sports; and to provide physical and mental recreation to its members.

17. To arrange such activites on social issues which will help in raising moral character and social awareness of people by using any source of communication for furtherance of its aims and objects.

18. To subscribe or give donations, financially or otherwise to such other societies, agencies, associations or institutions who are working in the area of aged people or involved in the activities which tend to support or and / advance the aims and objects of the Society.

19. To do all such other things as may be conducive or incidental to the attainment of the aforesaid objects,of the Society or any of them

All the income, earnings, moveable and immovable properties of Society shall be solely utilized and applied towards the promotion of its aim and objects anly as set forth in the “Memorandum of Association” and no profit or part thereof shall be paid or transferred directly or indirectly by way of dividends, bonus, profits or in any manner whatsoever to the present and past members of the socirty or to any other person. No member of the society shall have any personal claim on any moveable or immovable properties of the society or make any profit, whatsoever by virtue of this membership
